My gf has that same camera. I tried to mess with it for about 30 minutes till I finally got fed up and grabbed my camera. Dunno what advice to give besides keep working with it. I think she finally figured some of the stuff out after reading through the book a few times.

I'll ask her tonight when I talk to her. She's in arizona for 2 weeks with the camera, so I'm pretty sure she's figured most of it out by now.

I'll just send you a pm, my phone doesn't have long distance. The call to arizona every night is gonna be enough to put me out of my budget for this month lol.

theres nothing you can do really. Its not a high lux/lumen camera and it dosent have infared ( night vison). Those things sell like crazy now that walmart has them, but to be brutally honest, it has a lot of features, but the features dont work well.

Im willing to guess she spent 100.00 at walmart for it. ( they make it in korea and they have been around for a while, the ebay people were selling them back in the day for 30-50 bucks until they became popular.

having a high megapixel camera dosent always mean good pictures, and the same with movies they throw the movie option in because the can do it, dosent mean its always going to work well.

Its about the qualtiy of a camera phone when it comes to movies and thats one of the reasons i didnt buy one.. My cell phone did a better job ( nokia 6230)

The ability to take good low light pictures versus bad low light pictures is the difference between a $100.00 5.1mp camera from a taiwanese factory, and a $500.00 Nikon or Canon 5.1mp camera that has strict quality control and a company to back its product up with the latest technology.

Sorry but sometimes you get what you pay for

Id suggest getting more lighting. or modifying the camera to have the flash or a light mounted to it
